Clune & Company will celebrate their 55th Anniversary in 2012.

Recognizing a need is at the heart of any business venture, and that is exactly what motivated my Father, Bob Clune, to start Clune Equipment Leasing in 1957.  (Another motivator might have been his three children who ranged in age from 2-5 years.)  Anyway, Christmas seems like the perfect time to reflect on this long history.

With the explosion of computers & high speed technology, much has changed since our inception, but some basic tenets have remained the same.

Dad is now 86 years old and he will tell you that the world has changed so much that he would not be able to run a business in today’s world.  However, adherence to the principles he understood & modeled should result in success, or, in today’s world, survival.

I have been honored to be at the helm since 1991, and look forward to celebrating the Christmas Holiday with both of my parents, my wife, siblings, in-laws, children, grandchildren, & many nieces, & nephews.  We wish you a Merry Christmas & also a moment to pause & reflect on past Holidays, with an eye to a future full of hope.
